The combination of the high-tech Nano Optics-lens and the ultra-light frame with integrated carbon fibre is as close to perfection as one can get. In total, Hero only weighs 30 grams. All those adjustment possibilities, world class comfort and performance that sets you free. Hero is the model for you if you’d rather kick down the door than wait for it to open.
Lens properties
The Nano Optics lens is all you’ve ever dreamed - and then some! Minimal optical distortion lets you see things exactly as they are. Triple anti-fog coating makes a fogged lens a thing of the past. Hydrophobic coating keeps the lens dry in any weather, and the anti-scratch coating keeps the lens nice and clear. Additionally, an oleophobic coating keeps the lens free from dirt. The lens is made from unbreakable X-PC, naturally with full UV-protection. But that’s not enough! Nano Optics is available in two additional lenses. A Photochromic lens that darkens or lightens up automatically with the weather, and a Nordic Light version which gives you sharp contrasts.
Materials
Hero has an inner core of Grilamid TR90, reinforced with super stiff, light weight carbon fibre -the same material used in fighter jets and F1 cars. “Compromise” is not a word that fits here. Hero has a frame that’s strong, light and all around awesome.
Adjustment possibilities
Hero is built with all types of performance in mind - including the fit. Its light weight of only 30 grams makes it easy on your face. Both temple tips and nose pad are adjustable. Another upside with Hero is the possibility to fit an optical adapter. It is purchased separately, and can hold your personal eyeglasses prescription.
